An incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday in Remedios de Escalada, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. A 16-year-old girl, whose initials are M.N.N., called the 911 emergency service and reported that her boyfriend, 20-year-old Santiago Nauhel López Monte, had been injured while trying to jump the fence of the house. However, paramedics from the SAME service who arrived at the scene determined that the victim's wounds were caused by a sharp weapon. Later, the girl called the victim's mother and confessed to the crime, saying, "We had a fight and I stabbed him." After that, she fled the scene. The Buenos Aires Provincial Police is currently conducting an extensive search for the suspect. The investigation is being handled by the Lanus 8th Prosecutor's Office, led by Oscar Maidana. The motive for the crime is still unknown.
